Jeong Bin-seung (Vincent), the owner and chef, listens in on his customers, analyzing their words, their choices, and their darkest instincts under the guidance of the elusive 'Mimi'. But when Mimi decides it’s time for the final phase, dinner service turns deadly: eight guests must vote on who lives and who dies.
The four unfortunate pairs are: Table 1’s Su-chang and Ae-jin, the only senior citizens in their graduate school’s creative writing program, who are both going through marital difficulties; Table 2’s Jeong-ran and Yeon-ju, a controlling mother and her desperate daughter; Table 3’s Sang-ah and Yu-jin, a pair of old classmates brought together by unfortunate chance; and Table 4’s Seong-mi and Min-gyeong, coworkers on their way back from a work retreat who secretly hate each other’s guts. And mostly, they each have an easy answer to Bin-seung’s demand…
